Noah is someone I’ve watched grow up from a kid to a poised young man. At his bar mitzvah, Noah stood proud and tall at Berkeley’s Congregation Beth El’s bimah. His parents, sister, grandparents, aunts and uncles, friends and family beamed as he delivered his drash and chanted from the torah. While everyone agreed that Noah rocked, there was a bit of friendly rivalry about who was going to win the Big Game: Cal or Stanford. Sadly, Cal didn’t perform as well as Noah!
Noah showed what a menche he is through his acts of tikkun olam (repairing the world). Noah collected and donated books to the Jewish Coalition for Literacy which places over 1,000 volunteer tutors in Bay Area schools and has donated over 10,000 books to schools and students.
A big Mazel tov to Noah and his family and thank you for allowing me the honor to photograph for you.
