In a city known for its stunning architecture, San Francisco City Hall, in my opinion, is the most gorgeous building in the City for a wedding. The Beaux-Arts style, its soaring dome and delicious light make for an amazing background for wedding portraits. I love that the building is open for public use. Any given day, there are dozens of couples exchanging vows.
I wanted to do a styled wedding shoot at City Hall. Maria (a professional model) and Bob (her real-life sweetheart), modeled for me with the assistance of a team of wedding professionals. Maria wore a 1970’s dress loaned to us by Recaptured Vintage Bridal Couture. I photographed on the main grand staircase and in a few other iconic locations within the building and outside at the Civic Center Plaza. Here are some of the portraits from our day…
This was taken from a balcony looking over a perfect place to say, “I Do” or take a first dance.
This was bride Maria’s favorite shot.
Bob and I share a moment…Thanks all for making this day a success!
