Early summer is one of my favorite times for afternoon/evening photography.  The colors are warm and inviting.  The sun sets late so even a working family can attend a weekday photoshoot. Sunset is around 8:30 pm and it gets dark around 9 pm!

Kids are more relaxed during summer as there’s no homework.  And, when kids are relaxed, so too are the parents.  If you’re thinking of having an outside family portrait taken this year, now is the time. Shoey Sindel is offering an hour session at a park in the Berkeley area only $175, a $75 savings.  Prints are sold separately.

Sessions are available Monday – Thursdays, 4-pm to sunset through June 17.
